Description
The A&O Hostel Friedrichshain in Berlin is a modern hostel set in a renovated factory overlooking a courtyard in the trendy Friedrichshain district of East Berlin. Bright, functional rooms have simple white décor and wooden floors and furnishings. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, cable television and views of the courtyard. DirectionsThe S Bahn, number S9 or S45, goes to Ostkreuz Station. Take the Neue Bahnhofstrasse exit from here for the hostel. Taxis from the airport to the hostel cost around 30. Many of Berlin's attractions can be reached easily on foot. Berlin is also very bicycle friendly, with specially marked bike lanes everywhere. An excellent bus and tram service is also available.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the Bundesstrasse B96a in the direction of Berlin Zentrum. At Warschauer Strasse turn right into Boxhagener Strasse and the hostel is on the left hand side.
