Built in 2002, the Novotel Berlin Mitte is a seven storey hotel with a modern facade, located in the Mitte district in central Berlin, one kilometre from Friedrichstraße and three kilometres from the Brandenburg Gate. The hotel's 238 modern guestrooms feature simple cream decor with blue bed fabrics and matching curtains, and wood furnishings including coffee tables, writing desks and chairs. All include satellite television, wireless and high speed Internet connections, minibars, and coffee and tea making facilities. Bathrooms come equipped with shower/tub combinations, robes, and complimentary toiletries.
After a day's sightseeing, guests can enjoy some relaxation time in the sauna. The famous Reichstag building is three kilometres from the hotel, as is the Brandenburg Gate. Berlin Tegel Airport is eight kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.
